This means walking through the housing and making sure there’s nothing wrong with the appliances. Also be aware of the neighborhood the low income senior housing is in. Sometimes what may seem like nice senior housing may reside in a crime ridden neighborhood. You can easily check out crime statistics online or get them from the police department. Other things to look out for is if the housing staff care about residents. If they care, they should repair things quickly once you request maintenance. If you are a senior who happens to be disabled or cannot climb stairs, then finding low income senior housing which are at the ground level would be a priority for you. These are just some factors you need to consider.

Since most low income senior housing require you to sign a yearly lease, you should at least find a place that provides well for you. Price alone shouldn’t be the only deciding factor when looking to rent low income senior housing.
